ALL IS WELL!

Nothing really new going on here. We're on the final stretch in packing. I'm sick of boxes. I'll be glad to see the house empty, oh yeah! That means the worst is done. I go back to work tomorrow, and Friday I say my goodbyes there. Saturday we load the trailer. Finish cleaning the house Saturday night and Sunday. We'll be staying Saturday night at hotel here in town thanks to our member Sister Bev. Then we'll be pulling out some time Sunday to head to the assembly. Should arrive some time Monday.

Our family has been experiencing so many emotions, but we know we'll get to relax, fellowship and feast on the things of the Lord at the assembly. I'm confident that will strengthen us for the journey to Alaska.

"God always pays for what He orders." That little quote has spoken to me many times through the years. In this instance I take it to mean God will give you guys the strength and fortitude to get all your work done, than come and enjoy the blessings of the Lord at the Assembly. I expect the devil to put up his best fight, but I know the Lord will win! There's been way too much fasting and prayer going up for Him not to. God honors the devotion of His saints. AMEN!

Unfortunatly we (I) too often are shouting SHOW ME THE MONEY (I don't necessarily mean specifically money; it's show me the proof)instead of trusting in that fact. I do good for awhile and then fear and worry creep in. Fear is really big right now as we try to get everything in the trailer and we look at the long trip we'll be making in two vehicles...one's bad enough but Jessa will be following us (so far the young men couldn't pull it off to help us). Trust Jada, trust.

I'm hoping at the assembly I can focus on the assembly!

Thanks Sister Smith for the reminder. You seem to know when I need it the most.

Our family is living proof that "God pays for what He orders!" One of the things that I was concerned about was that we had the moving truck, the pickup and the van and someone getting separated in the big cities, so we bought two sets of walkie talkies and everyone set their's to the same channel and if we got separated we let the lead vehicle know and if they turned, they would let us know. You would only need one set though. We also used them to keep the drivers awake. It was quite comical at times. ~grin~

You will get everything that you NEED loaded into the trailer. You will get the house cleaned up. And you will make it to Anchorage with both vehicles and lots of assorted memories to laugh about next year. God is with you and you have all of us praying for you. Take courage and be of good cheer! Love ya!

Yes, walkie talkies are a must! They're definitely worth the investment. We have 2 sets for just the 2 of us! LOL. We keep a set in each vehicle. We've used them on numerous trips, and in a lot of WalMarts and Home Depots. :-)

Yep, walkie talkies are in our plans. We actually have two sets as we've used them often between camp and traveling with Aviles'to IYC.(go figure) We use our cell phones in the stores as we have free mobile to mobile but we're certain there will be dead spots in our travels. Any way I just have to pick up battiers.

I can't thank everyone enough about our prayers. From here on out when you hear from us it'll be regarding answered prayers (mostly any way ~winks~)

Love ya all
