Thank You God....

I hope my parents won't mind be posting this for them...I don't know if they'll have internet in the airport or if they'll even know how to get it- no disrespect or anything- thats just something they all ways ask Joleesa or me about...anyway ot the whole point of the post -

Well I got a call this morning from my dad and they made it on the flight to Seattle- Praise the Lord....and Joleesa just talked to mom and they are savely in Seattle and now working on getting on a flight to Anchorage...So if you all could continue to pray for them I know it would mean a lot.

Please pray an extra pray for dad - he's afraid of flying and he asked me what to do to make it better and I told him to bring a book and bring music if possible- or better yet sleep...I don't know how he did but I know the flight to Anchorage probably isnt going to be the smoothest of flights....

Love You Mom and Dad

God Be with You

Praying! God didn't get them to Seattle to leave them sitting in an airport. Any word on where Bro. Bobby ended up?

Oh thank you for posting! I was hoping one of you would. I am truly praying for them. My whole church is waiting to see if they got on the flight!

Bro. Bobby made is safely in yesterday about 2:00 I think and then got on his flight to Bethel...

I haven't heard how the Anchorage flight is coming- if they've gotten on one yet or not- no phone call as of yet

they are starting to get worried- they haven't been able to get on a flight yet and from the sounds it there is only one flight left tonight and it has alot of standby flyers for it...they really dont want to stay in the airport all night but it may come to that...

Really pray for dad- I guess the Seattle flight was ruff and dad didnt take well with it and the plane they'll end up taking to Anchorage is going to be much smaller...

God is with them and I know that everything will work out according to His will...

our family thanks you all so much for the prayers...and I know I dont have to ask you guys to keep praying because I know that you are...

lots of love

We'll keep praying. Let us know when they make it.

Oh I was so hoping they would have gotten on one by now but the Lord IS with them and sees right where they are. Maybe your Dad needs to have a break before the next flight...only the Lord knows. I'll pray for him especially to be calm and for strength for your Mom as I'm sure she's exhausted. Maybe there will be news by morning. I'll pray through the night as I wake about every hour. Hugs.

Dad just called and they just got on a flight to Junuo, AK- I dont know where they go from there- I pray for their sake its then on to Anchorage- Dad sounded soo very tired and I am sure mom is too...

I am more comforable with flying them am driving in being in a car- do that fact- I have been in many car accidents never been in a plane crash- hehe

Dad actually enjoyed the flight to Junuo I guess- all he mentioned was how pretty it was...they are staying the night in Junuo and should be able to get a flight in the morning to Anchorage- If anything they are having quality time together and they needed that...maybe even in the short time in Junuo it will actually seem like a vacation and be a time of stress release...

I'll keep you all posted

Thanks Jenna, for the updates. I'm hoping by the time I get home from the rest home visit this morning that you'll have posted that they have made it there.

You are right about flying being safer. My husband works for the FAA and the statistics are that you have a better chance being struck by lightening twice at the same location than you do being in a commercial airliner crash (small planes are a slight bit different). Consider that the only accident since the one in NY right after 9/11 that we have had in the US is the one that ran through that fence off the runway and killed the little boy in the car. There has not been another crash in this country since 9/15/01. That's an amazing record when you think about the waves of planes that come in and out from just one major airport in a day. It's still hard though when it makes you nervous. Some people are consoled by the statistics and some aren't. I don't think it helps Brother Smith's stomach one bit...poor guy. I hope your Dad is doing okay. Prayers still coming!

I was going to do a new post but blogger wont allow me :P

I got up this morning with a voicemail message on my cell phone-

They really in enjoyed Junuo (maybe thats why God sent them there first a bit of R&R before convention) and they got on a straight flight to Anchorage about 9ish centeral time so I am expecting a call anytime now saying they've made it...

God is so very Good

Thank you all for your prayers

Brother Nowling says-

We appreciate the prayers of each one of you that have prayed. Words cannot describe how much that meant to me. Shows me how wonderful the Church is.

Sis. Smith-I like Brother's Smith's idea about buying a car and driving back. He's a wise man but as with you folks, time will not permit it. We have to leave Sunday night and arrive in Chicago Monday morning. Brother Grant and Brother Bobbie will be leaving out Monday night and arriving Tuesday morning. So your prayers are still appreciated.
